Studie Rapport 2005

Once again it´s been time for Sacrificial to enter a recording studio with Jacob Hansen, actually his own studio!!

This time we haven´t recorded material for a record though, but for a promo that should hopefully help generating some attention and interest from labels around the globe.

Quite a lot has happened since our last release “Autohate”. Long time fellow combatants Asmus Thomsen (guitar) and John Hansen (vocals) have left the band to have more time for family and work- and though we have tried out some substitutes no one have yet seemed to walk the walk. So it was with some excitement we entered the studio, this time as a three- piece band, with Rico on vocals as well as bass. Let this be known, Rico did one hell of a job laying down those vocals!! I don’t think that any new singer has ever put so much energy and diversity down in his first recording session. So in keeping with the Sacrificial style of keeping it direct and aggressive the vocals and the music matched up perfectly.

From a total of 12 brand new songs we chose 5 songs for this recording session, the titles are: Words of disdain, Never never, Venting fury, Revert to sorrow and Excommunication.

The new material is both heavier and faster than our previous material, but still very distinctly Sacrificial. The song Words of disdain is gonna be put out on the page along with bits of the other songs. We hope you will thoroughly enjoy the new material!!
